Life cycle analysis
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an environmental impact assessment technique that examines the environmental impacts over the entire life cycle of a product or building, from production materials at end of life. GREENBIRDIE uses this technique to assess the environmental impact of buildings under construction or renovation, by identifying the sources of pollution and the impacts on the environment.
Carbon Footprint - BEGES
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports are also used to assess the environmental impact of buildings. These balances make it possible to measure greenhouse gas emissions throughout the life cycle of a building, including indirect emissions linked to the energy consumed for the production and transport of materials.
Certificate
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) and HQE (High Environmental Quality) certifications are recognized labels for assessing the environmental and social performance of buildings and companies.
